Regarding the Metro Air Park Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District Annual Report
On April 5, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Metro Air Park Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District Public Financing Authority (PFA) adopted a Resolution forming the Metro Air Park Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (MAP EIFD), Adopting the Infrastructure Financing Plan for the District, and Authorizing Certain Other Actions Relating thereto (Resolution No. MAP EIFD-0008). Resolution No. MAP EIFD-0008 was adopted pursuant to Chapter 2.99 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the California Government Code (commencing with Section 53398.50) (the “EIFD Law").
Documentation related to the MAP EIFD, including a copy of the Infrastructure Financing Plan (the “IFP") and the Annual Report, are available online at https://sccob.saccounty.gov/Pages/MetroAirParkEIFDPFC.aspx and in-person at the Office of Budget and Debt Management, 700 H Street, Suite 6750, Sacramento, CA 95814. Documentation is also available by emailing bettisc@saccounty.net or by calling (916) 874-5239.
The purpose of the MAP EIFD is to facilitate economic growth throughout the region and to support the growth of economic activity at the Sacramento International Airport by utilizing a portion of the County's incremental property tax revenue and incremental property tax in lieu of vehicle license fees to provide funding for a portion of the public facilities that will enable Metro Air Park to fully develop and continue to attract new regional-serving businesses. The public facilities proposed to be financed are generally described as roadway, freeway, fire station, water system, storm drainage, pump station, light rail, and sewer facilities of community wide significance that provide significant benefits within the boundaries of the MAP EIFD or the surrounding community.
